Welcome The
aim of Monmouth and District NCT is to provide support and information
to help parents and pregnant women in and around the area. The
purpose of this website is to provide you with information about
the activities and services the branch currently offers. You do
not have to be a member of the NCT to participate or benefit from
these services, everyone is welcome, but it helps us if you join.
About Monmouth and District Branch Monmouth and District branch offer a range of services including antenatal classes to help you and your partner prepare for the birth of your baby. We also run various postnatal activities to support you and your baby, these include Coffee Break which gives you a chance to meet other new parents in an informal environment and Bumps and Babes where and new mums get together at different homes once a month. We hold a Nearly New Sales twice a year is a fantastic opportunity to buy wonderful second hand goods for your baby and sell your unwanted items that they grow out of so quickly. We have representatives who attend the Labour Forum which gives us a direct link into the NHS and ensures we can provide accurate information on parents childbirth experiences in the area. We
currently have a fully qualified antenatal class teacher and we
are now supporting an additional teacher in her extensive training
to enable us to offer more antenatal classes. The branch is run by local parents who are willing volunteers wanting to offer support, information and friendship to new parents parents to be and carers.
